This design is meant to depict the classic rhyming phrase “See ya later, alligator.” The alligator in conjunction with the goldfish represents this in a nice aquatic themed illustration, contrasting the warm colors of the goldfish and albino alligator with a cool colored background.

My Town is designed to inform visitors of Hattiesburg’s assets and remind locals of why they fell in love with the city. The simple palate is a nod to Hattiesburg’s most recognizable colors, and the flowers on the box are those most commonly seen around town.

To The Top

Found at the intersection of Highway 49 and Hardy Street, To The Top is located at the gateway to The University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to highlighting iconic imagery associated with Southern Miss, the abstract lines of the work are intended to symbolize people and community, while the leaves communicate growth and creative thinking found on campus.

Midtown Fun

Midtown Fun represents the vibrant atmosphere of the Midtown district of Hattiesburg, a popular place to gather for local food and shopping. Located on Hardy Street across from The University of Southern Mississippi, the box has viewers looking twice at the painted diners to see if they’re real or a work of art.

Imagination

Located at the corner of Main Street and 4th Street in Downtown Hattiesburg, this utility box features a child sitting and imagining, with the imagination exploding around all sides of the utility box.
