Art at Work
Named a “Top 11 City in the World for Public Art,” Hattiesburg is emerging as the artistic destination of the Gulf South with more than 150 large-scale murals, sculptures, and painted utility boxes on display. HAPA’s work in the community adds to beautification efforts, encourages engagement with public art, and supports talented artists, all while providing a safe and Instagram-worthy activity for all to enjoy.
Montague Sculpture Park
Montague Sculpture Park will bring a permanent collection of commissioned original sculpture to the heart of Downtown Hattiesburg.
Featuring eight large-scale sculptures, the collection will be curated by HAPA through nationally distributed calls for artists, creating an experience and art collection that are uniquely Hattiesburg.
